The village of Chovno-Fedorivka is located 15 kilometers northwest of Opishnya, near the sources of the Muzheva Dolyna River. Administratively, it is part of the Opishnya hromada of Poltava district.
The village arose at the beginning of the 19th century. The name is associated with the Chovnova River, which flows nearby, as well as with the name of the first owner.
In 1892, a wooden church was built (not preserved).
Cело Човно-Федорівка розташоване за 15 кілометрів на північний захід від Опішні, біля витоків річки Мужева Долина. Адміністративно входить до складу Опішнянської громади Полтавського району.
Село виникло на початку XIX століття. Назва пов'язана з річкою Човновою, яка протікає неподалік, а також з іменем першого власника.
У 1892 року була збудована дерев’яна церква (не збереглася).
Chovno-Fedorivka Historical Museum

The Chovno-Fedorivka Historical Museum is located in the premises of the secondary school of the village of Chovno-Fedorivka. It was created in 2009 by the efforts of local teachers and schoolchildren.
The "Ancient History of the Village" department tells about life in Chovno-Fedorivka and the surrounding farms in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It exhibits dishes, clothes, towels, household items, tools, and historical photographs.
The section "The Village in the 1920s - 1940s" presents a large number of memories of the villagers about the Holodomor of 1932-1933, shell casings from World War II, agricultural tools (one-horse plow, millstone, corn planter).
