Sutysky

The settlement Sutysky on the Pivdenniy Buh River is located 10 kilometers northwest of Tyvriv. Administratively, it is part of the Vinnytsia district of the Vinnytsia region.

Sutysky was founded in the 16th century and belonged to the Komar family. In 1611, the Hulevychs, who owned the city, transferred part of it to the Zhytynskys.

Sutysky was founded in the 16th century and belonged to the Komar family. In 1611, the Hulevychs, who owned the city, transferred part of it to the Zhytynskys.

A school and a hospital were built in the village at the count's expense.

To this day, only one outbuilding, several outbuildings, and a small house with a guardhouse and a watchtower have survived from the estate buildings. A boarding school is located on the territory.

At the Sutysky airfield, training and competitions in gliding and parachuting are held. One of the first rural hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine has been operating since 1926.

У другій половині XIX століття маєток перейшов у власність графа Дмитра Гейдена. Він збудував у Сутисках великий палац у неоготичному стилі з ландшафтним парком, у якому досі налічується 50 видів дерев та чагарників. На кошти графа у селі було збудовано школу та лікарню....

До наших днів із садибних споруд зберігся лише один флігель, кілька господарських будівель і будиночок сторжі і вартовою вежею. На території розташована школа-інтернат.

На аеродромі Сутисків проходять тренерування та змагання з планерного та парашутного спорту. З 1926 діє одна з перших в Україні сільських гідроелектростанцій.
