General information about Albat

The large village of Albat in the picturesque valley of the Belbek River is located on the Yalta-Bakhchysarai highway. The time of its origin is unknown, it was first mentioned as a settlement of Albat in documents of the 18th century.

In 1879, the owner of the estate, Ivan Rohulya, built the Church of the Intercession of the Virgin (the original was not preserved, it was recently rebuilt).

In 1944, the Crimean Tatar population was deported, the village was renamed Kuibysheve. In 2016, the historical name of Albat was returned to the village.

Now there is a mosque and an Orthodox church in the village.

The tourist infrastructure is developing.
