Portove

The coastal village of Portove on the shores of the Karkinit Bay of the Black Sea is located 10 kilometers from the village of Rozdolne. In the 5th century BC, a small Greek-Scythian trading port was located here.

Until 1944, the village was called Sary Bulat (Golden Blade in Tatar).

This is the northernmost place in Crimea with good beaches. The shallow bay, which goes deep into the land, is well protected from the north by the chain of the Swan Islands, and the sand, golden in color due to the small content of iron compounds, consists of finely ground mollusk shells.

There are several recreation centers nearby. Not far from the village is the "Swan Islands" reserve, which is a wintering place for migratory birds.

Прибережне село Портове на березі Каркінітської затоки Чорного моря розташоване в 10 кілометрах від селища Роздольне. В V сторіччях до нашої ери тут знаходився невеликий греко-скіфський торговий порт.

До 1944 року село називалося Сари Булат (татарською - Золотий Клинок).

Це найпівнічніше місце в Криму з хорошими пляжами. Мілководна бухта, яка глибоко вдається в суходіл, добре захищена з півночі ланцюжком Лебедячих островів, а пісок, золотистого кольору через невеликий вміст сполук заліза, складається з дрібно перетертих раковин молюсків.

Поруч розташовано кілька баз відпочинку. Недалеко від села знаходиться заповідник "Лебедині острови", який є місцем зимівлі перелітних птахів.
