Kupychiv

The village of Kupychiv is located 35 kilometers south of Kovel. Administratively, it is part of the Turiisk hromada of the Kovel district of the Volyn region.

The village of Kupychiv was first mentioned in documents in 1577. In the 18th century, the country residence of the Vlolodymyr bishops was located here.

In the second half of the 19th century, a large Czech community settled in Kupychiv. The Evangelical church they built is now the Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. The Catholic Church of Saint Wenceslas from 1911, the Trinity Cemetery Church from 1925, and other fragments of the old town buildings have also been preserved.

Село Купичів розташоване за 35 кілометрів на південь від Ковеля. Адміністративно входить до складу Турійської громади Ковельського району Волинської області.

В документах село Купичів вперше згадується у 1577 році. У XVIII столітті тут розташовувалася заміська резиденція володимирських єпископів.

В другі половині XIX століття в Купичеві оселилася велика чеська громада. В збудованому ними євангельському костелі нині розташовується православна церква Преображення Господнього. Також зберігся католицький костел Святого Вацлава 1911 року, Троїцька цвинтарна церква 1925 року та інші фрагменти старої забудови містечка.
