Pishchanka

The urban-type village of Pishchanka is located in the south of Podillia, 70 kilometers south of Tulchyn, near the border with Moldova, near the source of the Khrustova River. Administratively, it is part of the Tulchyna district of the Vinnytsia region.

It was first mentioned in 1734 as Pishchana. The Cossack Kvitka is considered the founder of the settlement. The history of the region and prominent compatriots is told by the exhibition of the Pishchanka Museum of Local History.

5 kilometers to the west of Pishchanka flows the Kamyanka River, in the valley of which are located the landscape reserve of local importance "Enchanted Valley" and the complex nature monument of national importance "Knyahinya Tract".

Селище міського типу Піщанка розташоване на півдні Поділля, за 70 кілометрів на південь від Тульчина, поблизу кордону з Молдовою, біля витоків річки Хрустова. Адміністративно входить до складу Тульчинського району Вінницької області.

Вперше згадується у 1734 році як Піщана. Засновником поселення вважають козака Квітку. Про історію краю та видатних земляків розповідає експозиція Піщанського краєзнавчого музею.

За 5 кілометрів на захід від Піщанки протікає річка Кам'янка, в долині якої розташовані ландшафтний заказник місцевого значення "Зачарована долина" та комплексна пам'ятка природи загальнодержавного значення "Урочище Княгиня".
