Chervone

The village of Chervone (formerly Lyatske) is located at the foot of the hilly ridge of Voronika on the highway N-02 "Lviv - Ternopil".

It was first mentioned in 1380 as the property of the landowner Mykolay Sherochyts, the center of his key. Later, the village was owned by Hosabovsky, Strembosh, Ocharovsky.

The Church of Cosmas and Damian was built in 1886 according to the project of the architect Vasyl Nahirny. The three-story building of the Sisters of Mercy monastery, founded in the 19th century on the site of the Strembosh manor, has also been preserved. On the mountain above the village, in 1820, Tomash Strembosh built an ancestral tomb-mausoleum, which was preserved in ruins.
