Velyki Hai

The village of Velyki Hai is located on the southeastern outskirts of Ternopil. There used to be large oak groves on this place. The Greek Catholic Church (1910), destroyed during the Soviet rule, is being restored, and a barrow in honor of the UPA soldiers was built nearby. Kobzarya Grove with a monument to Taras Shevchenko and the Song Field is laid out in the center. A popular direction of suburban cottage construction.

Село Великі Гаї розташоване на південно-східній околиці Тернополя. Раніше на цьому місці були великі дубові гаї.

Відновлюється зруйнована в роки радянської влади греко-католицька церква (1910 рік), поруч споруджений курган на честь воїнів УПА. У центрі розбито Гай Кобзаря з пам'ятником Тарасові Шевченку та Пісенним полем.
