Mizhhirya

The picturesque village of Mizhhirya is located on the Khust-Dolyna highway, a large number of tourist routes to the mountains start from here. It is located on the banks of the Rika River, surrounded by Borzhava and Chervona meadows.

It was first mentioned in the 15th century as Volove. It was owned by the Hungarian feudal lords Urmezei, then Dovhai, Lipchay. The wooden church of the Resurrection of the Lord was built in 2006 according to the model of the ancient church in Krekhiv, Lviv region. Nearby is the Synevyr Lake and the Shypit waterfall, the Forestry Museum and the Tereblya-Rikska HPP, a source of mineral water.

There are many modern mini-hotels, private cottages for rent, and a developing ski infrastructure (two lifts are in operation).

Мальовниче селище Міжгір'я розташоване на трасі Хуст-Долина, звідси починається велика кількість туристичних маршрутів в гори. Розташоване на березі річки Ріка в оточенні полонин Боржава й Червона.

Вперше згадується в XV столітті як Волове. Перебувало у власності угорських феодалів Урмезеїв, потім Довгаїв, Липчаїв. Дерев'яна церква Воскресіння Господнього побудована в 2006 році за зразком старовинної церкви в Крехові на Львівщині. Неподалік знаходиться Синевирське озеро та водоспад "Шипіт", музей лісосплаву та Теребля-Рікська ГЕС, джерела мінеральних вод.

Працює безліч сучасних міні-готелів, здаються приватні котеджі, розвивається гірськолижна інфраструктура (працюють два підйомники).
