Dubove

The village of Dubove is located among the mountains on the Teresva River, known since the 10th century as Dombo within Hungary. In 1919, it went to Czechoslovakia and got its current name. The development is connected with the construction in 1969 of a plant for the production of rotorcraft.

The tourist business is currently represented by a large center for green tourism. On the second Sunday of May, the traditional Carpathian holiday "Seeing Off to the Polonyna" is held, which is celebrated here as "Bull's Day".

Селище Дубове розташоване серед гір на річці Тересва, відоме з X століття як Домбо в складі Угорщини. У 1919 році відійшло до Чехословаччини, отримало нинішню назву. Розвиток пов'язаний з будівництвом в 1969 році заводу по виробництву гвинтокрилів.

Турбізнес в даний час представлений великим центром зеленого туризму.

У другу неділю травня проходить традиційне карпатське свято "Проводи на полонину", яке тут відзначають як "День Бика".
