The village of Stupky on the Hnezdechna River is located 10 kilometers east of Ternopil, on the E-50 (M-12) Ternopil - Khmelnytskyi highway.
It was first mentioned in 1432. The Church of the Nativity of the Holy Virgin in the neo-Gothic style was built in 1899.
Near the village there is a hydrological monument of nature - Stupky spring.
Село Ступки на річці Гнездечна розташоване в 10 кілометрах на схід від Тернополя, на трасі Е-50 (М-12) Тернопіль - Хмельницький.
Вперше згадується в 1432 році. Церква Різдва Пресвятої Богородиці в стилі неоготики збудована в 1899 році.
Поруч з селом знаходиться гідрологічна пам'ятка природи - Ступківське джерело.

Stupkyvske spring is a hydrological natural landmark of local importance.
The source of drinking water in the village of Stupky near Ternopil has been known since ancient times, as it was located on a busy trade route. And now the E-50 (M-12) highway "Ternopil - Khmelnytskyi" passes next to it.
The water in the spring is clean and cold, pleasant to the taste.
In 2009, the chapel of the Holy Mother of God was built over the spring, and the area around it was improved. Local residents willingly use the water of the Stupkyvske Source for drinking and cooking.
