The village of Khimchyn on the Khimchynets River is located 10 kilometers northeast of Kosiv, administratively it is part of the Kosiv district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Known since 1590 as Khomchyn. The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin was built in 1868. In 1925, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rutenia-Ukraine UOC KP Volodymyr was born in Khimchyn (manor-museum works). Folk crafts are developed in the village: embroidery, artistic weaving, production of folk clothes, wicker weaving and knitting, artistic leather processing. The People's House of Khimchyn is famous for its choir and women's vocal ensemble.
Cело Хімчин на річці Химчинець розташоване за 10 кілометрів на північний схід від Косова, адміністративно входить до складу Косівського району Івано-Франківської області. Відоме з 1590 року як Хомчин. Церква Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці зведена 1868 року. У 1925 році в Хімчині народився патріарх Київський і всієї Руси-України УПЦ КП Володимир (встановлено пам'ятник, працює садиба-музей). У селі розвинені народні промисли: вишивка, художнє ткацтво, виготовлення народного одягу, лозоплетіння і в’язання, художня обробка шкіри. Народний дім Хімчина славиться хором та жіночим вокальним ансамблем.

The Museum-Estate of the Patriarch of Kyiv and all Ruthenia-Ukraine Volodymyr (Vasyl Romanyuk) was founded in 2002 in the village of Khimchyn in Prykarpattia, where one of the founders of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate was born and grew up.
A typical village house of the beginning of the 20th century has been recreated on the site of the Romanyuk manor, with a chapel and a memorial cross on the occasion of the first anniversary of the patriarch's death.
In the first room, the interior of the residence of the Romanyuk family is reproduced, family items are presented: a table, a bed, sofas, a cradle, a chest, a bowl with ceramic dishes, wooden products, traditional clothes, icons.
The exposition of the second room highlights different periods of the life of Patriarch Volodymyr in documents and photographs.
