Terpinnia

The village of Terpinnia is located on the Molochnaya River 15 kilometers from Melitopol, next to the Zaporizhzhia-Melitopol highway.

It was founded in 1795 (according to other sources in 1802) by Doukhobor Christians (followers of orthodox Orthodox teachings) who moved here from Russia. The name of the village symbolizes submission to life's troubles on the way to spiritual improvement. The village has a 400-year-old patriarch oak and the "Healing Springs" park.
