General information about Bohdanivka
The village of Bohdanivka is located 25 kilometers southwest of Khorol. Administratively, it is part of the Semenivka hromada of the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region.
The village has been known since the beginning of the 19th century as Lazarivka. In the middle of the 19th century, the village was annexed by General Ladyhin, who renamed it Bohdanivka.
The Ladyhin estate with a two-story palace and Bohdanivskyi park with an area of 10 hectares has been preserved, which has the status of a botanical monument of local importance. About ten oaks grow here, which are over 300 years old and have a trunk diameter of over 5 meters.

Село Богданівка розташоване за 25 кілометрів на південний захід від Хорола. Адміністративно входить до складу Семенівської громади Кременчуцького району Полтавської області.
Село відоме з початку XIX століття як Лазарівка. У середині XIX століття село прибав генерал Ладигін, який перейменував його на Богданівку.
Збереглася садиба Ладигіна з двоповерховим палацом і Богданівським парком площею 10 гектарів, який має статус ботанічної пам'ятки природи місцевого значення. Тут зростає близько десяти дубів віком понад 300 років та діаметром стовбура понад 5 метрів.

Ladyhin Palace

The palace of the landowners Ladyhin is located on a hill in the old park of the village of Bohdanivka. The manor house was built in the middle of the 19th century, after General Ladyhin purchased Bohdanivka for his wife.
The central building of the estate is a two-story brick palace, which previously had a third wooden attic floor. The fence with an entrance gate in the form of a large arch has also been preserved.
The decoration of the estate is the Bohdanivka Park with century-old oaks, which has survived to this day and since 1970 has the status of a botanical monument of local importance.
