Lebedivka

The seaside village of Lebedivka is the greenest resort in Budzhak (Odesa part of Bessarabia).

The village is located at the base of the spit of the Burnas estuary with a length of 9 kilometers. It is located 120 kilometers northwest of Odesa, 50 kilometers from Tatarbunary.

Lebedivka was founded in 1787 by German colonists. From the end of the 19th century, the village began to develop as a climatic and mud healing resort of Bad Burnas (the oil and mud of the Burnas estuary is used). The President of Poland Yuzef Pilsudskyi and his family, the King of Romania Mihai I rested and received treatment here.

The village is located at the base of the spit of the Burnas estuary with a length of 9 kilometers. It is located 120 kilometers northwest of Odesa, 50 kilometers from Tatarbunary.

Lebedivka was founded in 1787 by German colonists. From the end of the 19th century, the village began to develop as a climatic and mud healing resort of Bad Burnas (the oil and mud of the Burnas estuary is used). The President of Poland Yuzef Pilsudskyi and his family, the King of Romania Mihai I rested and received treatment here.

Currently, a dozen boarding houses and recreation centers are operating in Lebedivka. The narrow sandy beach in the village is located under a steep cliff, from which descents are equipped. The central wide and gentle beach on the spit is equipped with changing rooms, benches, a rescue service, and a medical center.
