Khrystynivka

The city of Khrystynivka is located next to the Uman-Vinnytsia highway.

Khrystynhorod arose in the 16th century at the intersection of two important roads: the Chumatsky route from Kyiv to the Crimea and the trade route from Podillya to the Dnipro, which is probably where the name came from. And according to the folk legend, the name of the shinkarka was Khrystyna who kept a roadside inn here.

The population took part in the Liberation War, but in 1667 the town went to Poland, then to Russia.

The development is connected with the opening of the railway station and locomotive depot in 1890.
