Dubrovytsia

The ancient Polish city of Dubrovytsia on the Horyn River is located on the Rivne - Sarny - Horodyshche highway, not far from the Belarusian border.

The city of Dubrovytsia has been known since the time of Volodymyr the Great, it was part of the Kyiv state. Since the 14th century, it has been the fiefdom of the princes of Olshanskyi-Dubrovytskyi, from whom Saint Juliania is known, as well as the initiator of the creation of the Peresopnytsa Gospel, Princess Anastasiya.

The Olshanskyi Castle has not been preserved, but you can visit the Church of John the Baptist (1695-1702) and the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin (1862) - both churches have been restored.

Давнє поліське місто Дубровиця на річці Горинь розташоване на трасі Рівне - Сарни - Городище неподалік від білоруського кордону.

Місто Дубровиця відоме з часів Володимира Великого, входило до складу Київської держави. З XIV століття - вотчина князів Ольшанських-Дубровицьких, з яких відомі Свята Юліанія, а також ініціаторка створення Пересопницького Євангелія княгиня Анастасія.

Замок Ольшанських не зберігся, але можна оглянути костел Іоанна Хрестителя (1695-1702 роки) та церкву Різдва Богородиці (1862 рік) - обидва храми відреставровані.
