During December, the Dunstan Crafts Center invites children's groups on a quest trip to St. Nicholas with a visit to the museum-workshop, where antique household items, weapons and tools are presented.

The museum-workshop of St. Dunstan's crafts and medieval life was opened on the territory of the Dunstan Crafts Center in the village of Stadnytsia, Vinnytsia district. This was announced by the organizers on the project's official Facebook page.

"An important event took place in the center of crafts: the museum-workshop of St. Dunstan's crafts and medieval life was opened. The museum-workshop presents various ancient household items and tools of Ukraine and other European countries. A separate exhibition is dedicated to knightly weapons and armor," the message reads.

The first visitors to the museum were the participants of the charity program for children with disabilities.

"On this day, Dunstan visited two groups on a charitable basis - about 70 children with disabilities and their family members, who are cared for by the public organization "Rodina Kolpingiv Vinnytsia". The children took part in a unique game-quest "Medieval Journey to St. Nicholas", - the organizers said.

The winter costume quest lasts from 90 to 140 minutes (depending on the number of master classes) and is designed for groups of 15 to 40 children. Adventures await the participants with medieval entertainment, hot herbal tea with cookies by the fire and a souvenir photo, as well as a meeting with St. Nicholas.

"In our quests, in order to get the key to the chest of St. Nicholas with gifts, you will have to go through a rope tunnel, shoot from giant slingshots, go on team skis, get rings with a giant spear, pass tests with spears, throw snowballs at a straw fortress, learn to walk on stilts, shooting with bows and much more," the organizers announce.

During December, the Dunstan Crafts Center gives all participants of the quest a free entrance ticket to the new museum.

Музей-майстерню ремесел та середньовічного побуту святого Дунстана відкрили на території Центру ремесел "Дунстан" у селі Стадниця Вінницького району. Про це повідомили організатори на офіційнйій сторінці проєкту у Facebook.

"У центрі ремесел відбулась важлива подія: відкрився музей-майстерня ремесел та середньовічного побуту святого Дунстана. У музеї-майстерні представлені різноманітні старовині предмети побуту та інструменти України та інших країн Європи. Окрема експозиція присвячена лицарській зброї та обладункам", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Першими відвідувачами музею стали учасники благодійної програми для дітей з інвалідністю.

"Цього дня "Дунстан" на благодійні основі відвідало дві групи – близько 70 дітей з інвалідністтю та членів їх сімей, якими опікується  громадська організація "Родина Кольпінгів Вінниця". Діти взяли участь в унікальній грі-квесті "Середньовічна подорож до святого Миколая", – розповіли організатори. 

Зимовий костюмований квест триває від 90 до 140 хвилин (зележить від кількості майстер-класів) та розрахований на групи від 15 до 40 дітей. На учасників чекають пригоди з середньовічними розвагами, гарячим трав'яним чаєм з печивом біля вогнища та фото на згадку, а також зустріч зі Святим Миколаєм. 

"У наших квестах, щоб здобути ключ від скрині Святого Миколая із подарунками, треба буде проходити мотузковий туннель, стріляти з гіганських рогаток, ходити на командних лижах, діставати велитенською гиллякою кільця, проходити випробування із списами, закидувати солом'яну фортецю сніжками, навчитися ходити на ходулях, стріляти з луків та багато іншого", – анонсують організатори.

Протягом грудня Центр ремесел "Дунстан" дарує всім учасникам квесту безкоштовний вхідний квиток до нового музею.
