Другим незвичайним місцем є Тараканівський форт, розташований у селі Тараканів Рівненської області. За своїми лініями та будовами він нагадує зразки архітектури Британії її колоніальних часів. Сьогодні він покинутий і спустошений, але сюди приїжджають туристи з усієї України. Крізь стіни та каміння вже давно проростають дерева та трава.

Контраст краси та небезпеки – основна причина, чому сюди треба приїхати. Є можливість використовувати автобус за маршрутом Львів - Рівне, після чого зробити пересадку та добратися до села Тараканів. З вуст старожилів ходять легенди, що за часів Другої світової війни цей форт використали німці для розробки секретної зброї. Жевахова гора в Одесі – містичний пам'ятник культури, а раніше тут розташувалося грецьке поселення.
