As part of the festival of Bessarabian winegrowers and winemakers in Bolhrad, a tasting competition will be held to select the best still wines from local producers.

The traditional winter wine festival "Tryphon Zarizan 2026" will be held on February 14 in the city of Bolhrad, Odessa region. This is a bright cultural phenomenon that combines the traditions of the past with modern life, the organizers report on the Bolgrad Wine Fest Facebook page.

It is February 14 that St. Tryphon's Day is celebrated, whom the southern Slavs consider the patron saint of winegrowers and winemakers.

"February 14 is a day that symbolizes the beginning of a new agricultural season, when the first cut of the vine is traditionally made so that the harvest is generous and the land is fertile," the organizers emphasize.

Program of the festival "Tryphon Zarizan":

12:00 - opening of a charity fair of souvenir and gastronomic products of local producers in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
12:00 - opening of the festival, the ceremony of the first pruning of the vine, the coronation of the Trifons.
13:00 - announcement of the results of the wine tasting competition.
13:30 - folklore concert program "Colorful Bessarabia".
15:00 - performance of the collective "Druzhe Muzyko" (Odesa).
16:00 - ceremonial performance of the kukers band "Bessarabia".
16:30 - continuation of the folklore concert program "Colorful Bessarabia".
17:00 - closing of the festival.

During the festival day, tourists will be offered excursions with visits to gastronomic locations of the city (by prior appointment).

Традиційний зимовий винний фестиваль "Трифон Зарізан 2026" пройде 14 лютого в місті Болград Одеської області. Це яскравий культурний феномен, що об'єднує традиції минулого з сучасним життям, повідомляють організатори на Facebook-сторінці Bolgrad Wine Fest.

Саме 14 лютого відзначається День святого Трифона, якого південні слов'яни вважають покровителем виноградарів та виноробів.

"14 лютого – день, який символізує початок нового сільськогосподарського сезону, коли традиційно роблять перший зріз виноградної лози, щоби урожай був щедрим і земля родючою", – наголошують організатори.

Програма фестивалю "Трифон Зарізан":

12:00 – відкриття благодійного ярмарку сувенірної та гастрономічної продукції місцевих виробників на підтримку ЗСУ.
12:00 – відкриття фестивалю, обряд першого підрізання виноградної лози, коронація Трифонів.
13:00 – оголошення результатів дегустаційного конкурсу вин.
13:30 – фольклорна концертна програма "Барвиста Бессарабія".
15:00 – виступ колективу "Друже музико" (м. Одеса).
16:00 – обрядова вистава кукерської групи "Бессарабія".
16:30 – продовження фольклорної концертної програми "Барвиста Бессарабія".
17:00 – закриття фестивалю.

Протягом фестивального дня туристам пропонуватимуться екскурсії з відвідуванням гастрономічних локацій міста (за попереднім записом).
