For the comfort of young passengers, railway workers have insulated the cars, modernized the heating system and installed monitors for broadcasting thematic videos and cartoons.

For the first time in history, the Kyiv Children's Railway has switched to year-round operation. From now on, it does not stop the movement of trains throughout the winter, the press service of "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported on the official Facebook page.

Previously, the transportation season on the small railway lasted only during the warm season. In winter, the railway ring in the territory of the Syretsky Park of the capital operated only during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The children's railway can transport passengers with comfort in the cold season thanks to the insulation of the cars and the modernized heating system. Videos on career guidance topics and cartoons are broadcast on the monitors in the cars.

"The Kyiv Children's Railway operates autonomously, using thermal power, so it does not depend on external power supply. A cozy station and warm cars will await passengers," the press service of the state carrier assures.

Flights in February, March and April will take place only on certain weekends. Departure times: 11:10, 11:50, 13:10, 13:50, 15:10, 16:30.

Ticket prices (full/children): general - UAH 110/80, retro - UAH 130/90, deluxe - UAH 100.

Вперше в історії Київська дитяча залізниця перейшла на цілорічний режим роботи. Відтепер вона не зупиняє рух поїздів протягом усієї зими, повідомила пресслужба "Укрзалізниці" на офіційній сторінці у Facebook. 

Раніше сезон перевезень на малій залізниці постійно тривав лише в теплу пору року. Взимку залізничне кільце на території Сирецького дендропарку столиці функціонувало лише протягом різдвяно-новорічних свят.

Перевозити пасажирів з комфортом у холодну пору року дитяча залізниця може завдяки утепленню вагонів та модернізованій системі опалення. На моніторах у вагонах транслюються відеосюжети за профорієнтаційною тематикою та мультфільми.

"Київська дитяча залізниця працює автономно, на теплотязі, тож не залежить від зовнішнього електроживлення. На пасажирів чекатимуть затишний вокзал і теплі вагони", – запевняє пресслужба державного перевізника.

Рейси у лютому, березні та квітні відбуватимуться лише у визначені вихідні дні. Час відправлення: 11:10, 11:50, 13:10, 13:50, 15:10, 16:30.

Вартість квитків (повний/дитячий): загальний – 110/80 гривень, ретро – 130/90 гривень, люкс – 100 гривень.
