As part of the year of flower tourism, the Transcarpathian Tourist Organization offers to visit cherry blossom sites in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Irshava, Khusta and Perechina.

The sakuras in Uzhgorod and other cities of Transcarpathia are expected to start blooming this year on April 6-7. This was reported on his Facebook page by a Transcarpathian tourism expert, UzhNU professor Fedir Sandor.

"If the next week will be warm, then the flowering will begin even before Easter. Otherwise, on the weekend - in this case, it will not be lush and massive, but unstoppable. On April 6-7, this will be the peak of sakuras," the tourism expert predicts.

Alleys of sakuras (cherry blossoms) on the streets of the city near the embankment are one of the tourist attractions of Uzhgorod. Usually, the mass flowering of sakuras occurs in the second half of April. But this year's abnormally early and warm spring accelerated the growing season.

"Given the condition of the buds, they are ready to bloom already. But a cool front this week slowed down the process. However, every day you can observe the unstoppable process of unfolding," noted Fedir Sandor.

The Transcarpathian Tourism Organization has announced 2024 in Transcarpathia as the year of flower tourism and promotes trips to places of bloom. In particular, according to the organization, during April in the region you can visit the following flower locations:
- snowdrops - Solochyn, Uklin;
- sakuras - Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, Irshava, Khust, Perechyn;
- cherries - Pistryalovo;
- almonds - Tyachiv, Uzhhorod;
- lilacs - Uzhhorod, Nevitske;
- corydalis - "Schönborn Park";
- peonies - "Derenivska Kupil";
- tulips - Uzhgorod, "Derenivska Kupil", Mukachevo, Mizhhirya.

Початок цвітіння сакур в Ужгороді та інших містах Закарпаття цього року очікується 6-7 квітня. Про це повідомив на своїй сторінці у Facebook закарпатський туризмознавець, професор УжНУ Федір Шандор.

"Якщо наступний тиждень буде теплим, то цвітіння почнеться ще до Великодня. Інакше на вихідні – в цьому випадку не пишне і масове, але нестримне. На 6-7 квітня таким чином буде пік цвітіння сакур", – прогнозує туризмознавець.

Алеї сакур на вулицях міста в районі набережної є однією з туристичних візитівок Ужгорода. Зазвичай масове цвітіння сакур припадає на другу половину квітня. Але аномально рання і тепла весна цьогоріч прискорила вегетацію.

"Враховуючи стан бутонів, вони готові квітнути вже. Але прохолодний фронт цього тижня пригальмував процес. Проте, щодня можна спостерігати нестримний процес розкриття", – відзначив Федір Шандор. 

Закарпатська туристична організація оголосила 2024 рік на Закарпатті – роком квіткового туризму та промотує подорожі в місця цвітіння. Зокрема, за інформацією організації, протягом квітня в області можна відвідати наступні квіткові локації:
- проліски – Солочин, Уклин;
- Сакури – Ужгород, Мукачево, Іршава, Хуст, Перечин;
- черешні, вишні – Пістрялово;
- мигдаль – Тячів, Ужгород;
- бузок – Ужгород, Невицьке;
- чубатка – "Парк Шенборна";
- півонії – "Деренівська купіль";
- тюльпани – Ужгород, "Деренівська купіль", Мукачево, Міжгір'я.
