The structure in the form of the Small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine is made of metal that was managed to be taken out of the Mariupol "Azovstal" already after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.

Another symbol of Ukrainian statehood - a steel trident, made from a pre-war batch of metal produced by the Azovstal Metal Works, was installed in the northern part of Khortytsia Island in Zaporizhzhia. The solemn opening of the sculpture took place on the Ukraine's State Coat of Arms Day, the administration of the Khortytsia National Reserve reports on its official Facebook page.

The trident is made of AN36 EN 10029 steel. It weighs about 300 kilograms.

The metal structure was made by the employees of the "Kompozitstal" enterprise from metal produced by the Mariupol metallurgical plant "Azovstal". According to Inna Sakorska, director of "Kompozitstal", after the start of the full-scale invasion, they managed to take all their metal, which was at the plant, to Zaporizhzhia. Then the idea of creating a trident arose.

"This trident has a short, but already strong history. And we decided that its history should continue right here, on the island of Khortytsia, near the age-old rocks - in a symbolic place not only for Zaporizhzhia, but also for the whole of Ukraine." Inna Sakorska said during the opening ceremony.

The trident on the island of Khortytsia is dedicated to all living and dead defenders of Ukrainian statehood, independence and sovereignty, national values, the present and future of the nation, the administration of the reserve noted.

Ще один символ української державності – сталевий тризуб, виготовлений із довоєнної партії металу виробництва меткомбінату "Азовсталь", встановили у північній частині острова Хортиця у Запоріжжі. Урочисте відкриття скульптури відбулося у День державного герба України, повідомляє адміністрація Національного заповідника "Хортиця" на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

Тризуб виготовлено зі сталі марки АН36 EN 10029. Він важить близько 300 кілограмів.

Металеву конструкцію виготовили працівники підприємства "Композитсталь" з металу виробництва Маріупольського металургійного комбінату "Азовсталь". За словами директорки "Композитсталі" Інни Сакорської, після початку повномасштабного вторгнення вони встигли вивезли весь їхній метал, який був на комбінаті, до Запоріжжя. Потім виникла ідея створення тризуба.

"Цей тризуб має хоч і поки що недовгу, але вже сильну свою  історію. І ми вирішили, що його історія має продовжилася саме тут, на острові Хортиця, біля віковічних скель – у символічному місці не тільки для Запоріжжя, а і для всієї України", – сказала під час церемонії відкриття Інна Сакорська.

Тризуб на острові Хортиця присвячений усім живим і загиблим захисникам та захисницям української державності, незалежності та суверенітету, національних цінностей, теперішнього та майбутнього нації, відзначили в адміністрації заповідника.
