The retro tour of the Haivoron narrow gauge will include a cultural and artistic program, a hot lunch on the banks of the Southern Bug, a charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other entertainment.

On December 16, Ukrzaliznytsia invites you to take a winter trip along the longest in Europe on the Haivoron narrow-gauge railway on a festive retro train with a real 70-year-old steam locomotive. According to the company's press service, this will be the last retro tour in 2023.

"On the eve of the Christmas holidays, we invite you to immerse yourself in a winter fairy tale and ride through the picturesque snowy Podillia on a retro train pulled by an old German steam locomotive from the past. The train includes a metropolitan legend, a "tourer" from the Kyiv Children's Railway – steam locomotive Gr-336 (year 1951) and four passenger cars Polish-made Pafawag (1960)," the report said.

The trip will include a cultural and artistic program from the Gaivoron City Council, a hot lunch on the banks of the Southern Bug, a charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the opportunity to ride on the only car in Ukraine that runs on rails.

The average cost of a retro train ticket in one direction is UAH 116 for adults and UAH 87 for children under 14 years old. Tickets can be purchased online (trains #851 Haivoron – Bershad, #852 Bershad – Haivoron, #854 Haivoron – Khashchuvate, #853 Khashchuvate – Haivoron).

For convenient access to the starting point and return home, "Ukrzaliznytsia" offers to use non-stop trailer cars connecting Kyiv – Haivoron and Lviv – Haivoron. Departure of trains from Kyiv and Lviv in the evening of December 15, from Hayvoron back – in the evening of December 16.

У зимову мандрівку найдовшою в Європі Гайворонською вузькоколійкою на святковому ретропотязі зі справжнім 70-річним паровозом запрошує "Укрзалізниця" 16 грудня. Як повідомляє пресслужба підприємства, це буде останній ретротур у 2023 році.

"Напередодні різдвяних свят запрошуємо поринути в зимову казку та проїхатися мальовничим засніженим Поділлям на ретропоїзді під тягою старовинного німецького паровоза з минулого. У складі поїзда столична легенда, "гастролер" з Київської дитячої залізниці – паровоз Гр-336 (1951 року) і чотири пасажирські вагони Pafawag польського виробництва (1960 року)", – сказано у повідомленні.

Подорож включатиме культурно-мистецьку програма від Гайворонської міської ради, гарячий обід на березі Південного Бугу, благодійний ярмарок на підтримку ЗСУ, а також можливість проїхатися на єдиному в Україні автомобілі, що їздить по рейках.

Середня вартість квитка на ретропоїзд в одному напрямку – 116 грн для дорослих та 87 грн для дітей до 14 років. Квитки можна придбати онлайн (поїзди №851 Гайворон – Бершадь, №852 Бершадь – Гайворон, №854 Гайворон – Хащувате, №853 Хащувате – Гайворон).

Для зручного доїзду до початкової точки та повернення додому "Укрзалізниця" пропонує скористатися безпересадковими причіпними вагонами сполученням Київ – Гайворон та Львів – Гайворон. Відправлення поїздів з Києва та Львова ввечері 15 грудня, з Гайворона назад – ввечері 16 грудня.
