Lviv Krushelnytska Museum presents new exhibits

New exhibits that reveal the life and creative path of the outstanding Ukrainian opera singer were presented by the Solomiya Krushelnytska Music and Memorial Museum after several months of renovation work. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.

"We restored four more rooms - these are the former technical rooms, the director's and accounting offices. Now it is more welcoming, there is more light. Our guests say that they want to be here," said the head of the museum, cultural manager Taras Demko.

Among the new exhibits are rare photographs, theater posters and reviews, manuscripts, as well as digitized materials, personal documents that help to better understand her artistic heritage and personal life. Also in the museum's exposition there is a modern portrait of the singer, painted by artist Mykola Stupinsky.

"The plans are to create a new exposition that would tell about the life of Solomiya Krushelnytska, and for this house to come to life completely. In addition, there are even more musical events, cooperation with outstanding musicians and support for young musicians. Also, digitization, work on preserving the museum's heritage and, of course, its expansion," shared Taras Demko.

The administration notes that the museum is becoming more accessible for people with disabilities. Currently, an inclusive bathroom and other accessibility elements have been installed there. The plans are to increase the accessibility of the space at the entrance to the museum.

Нові експозиції, що розкривають життєвий і творчий шлях видатної української оперної співачки, представив Музично-меморіальний музей Соломії Крушельницької після кількох місяців ремонтних робіт. Про це повідомила пресслужба Львівської міської ради.

"Ми відреставрували ще чотири кімнати – це колишні технічні приміщення, кабінети директора та бухгалтерії. Тепер тут привітніше, більше світла. Наші гості кажуть, що тут хочеться бути", – розповів керівник музею, культурний менеджер Тарас Демко

Серед нових експонатів – рідкісні світлини, театральні афіші та рецензії, рукописи, а також оцифровані матеріали, особисті документи, які допомагають глибше зрозуміти її мистецьку спадщину та особисте життя. Також в експозиції музею з’явився і сучасний портрет співачки, який написав художник Микола Ступінський.

"У планах – сформувати нову експозицію, яка б розповідала про життя Соломії Крушельницької, і щоб цей будинок ожив повністю. Крім того – ще більше музичних подій, співпраця з видатними музикантами та підтримка молодих музикантів. Також – оцифрування, робота над збереженням спадщини музею та, звісно, його розширення", – поділився Тарас Демко.

В адміністрації відзначають, що музей стає доступнішим і для людей з інвалідністю. Наразі там облаштовано інклюзивний санвузол та інші елементи доступності. У планах – підвищення доступності простору на вході в музей.
