Guests of the Hrushevskys' Lviv villa will hear previously unpublished details of their daily lives and relationships, complementing the official portrait of the family of the famous scientist and politician.

On February 14, on Valentine's Day, the Mykhailo Hrushevsky State Memorial Museum in Lviv invites you to an author's tour of the museum's scientific secretary, Sofia Lehin, about the romantic stories of the Hrushevsky family. The museum administration reported this on its official Facebook page.

"One household, four families, four romantic stories. Different destinies that could not have developed without each other. With them, we will travel a path of almost a hundred years, during which we will smile and grieve together with the heroes of these stories," the message says.

The organizers promise to focus not only on biographical facts, but also on the emotional aspect of the relationship, exploring whether these unions were the result of passion or were based on intellectual and friendly admiration.

"I think that my sympathy for your person is no secret to you. I need to know whether I can build any greater hopes on her. I am looking for a sincere, intelligent and kind comrade, a collaborator in public work, in order to live with him soul to soul," the museum quotes a fragment of Mykhailo Hrushevsko's letter, promising to reveal during the tour to whom it was addressed and how this correspondence influenced the further life path of the first chairman of the Central Rada.

The event will begin at 4:00 PM at the address: Lviv city, Ivan Franko Street, 154. Cost – UAH 200 per person.

14 лютого, у День закоханих, Державний меморіальний музей Михайла Грушевського у Львові запрошує на авторську екскурсію вченої секретарки музею Софії Легін про романтичні історії родини Грушевських. Про це повідомляє адміністрація музею на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"Одна родина, чотири сім’ї, чотири романтичні історії. Різні долі, що не змогли б скластися одні без одних. З ними ми пройдемо шлях довжиною майже у сто років, під час якого будемо посміхатися та журитися разом з героями цих історій", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Організатори обіцяють зосередитися не лише на біографічних фактах, а й на емоційному аспекті стосунків, досліджуючи, чи були ці союзи результатом пристрасті, чи ґрунтувалися на інтелектуальному та дружньому замилуванні.

"Думаю, що для вас не тайна моя симпатія до вашої особи. Я мушу знати, чи можу будувати на їй які більші надії. Шукаю товариша щирого, розумного і доброго, співробітника в праці громадській, аби жити з ним душею в душу", ‒ цитують в музеї фрагмент листа Михайла Грушевсько, обіцяючи розкрити під час екскурсії, кому саме він був адресований та як це листування вплинуло на подальший життєвий шлях першого голови Центральної Ради.
