The wooden palace of the 19th century in the village of Pekariv, which belonged to the family of Hryhoriy Dolynskyi, the chancellor of the General Military Office, the head of the Nizhyn regiment and the chief economist of the Hetman Kyryla Rozumovskyi, has been empty for more than 20 years.

The Lviv charitable foundation for the restoration of architectural monuments "Heritage.UA" undertook its rescue. The head of the fund, Hanna Havryliv, was the only participant in the auctions announced by the Sosnitsa settlement council, and purchased the historic building for 226.5 thousand hryvnias. The foundation announced the new project on February 19 on its Facebook page.

"Dolynsky's estate is literally a few kilometers from the border with the enemy. This "madness" was actually a completely conscious and well-considered decision, even a duty. Because I believe that if the mission of "Heritage.UA" is to give new life to the architectural pearls of Ukraine, then right now, right in time of war, this step is our national and cultural front, and we simply had no moral right not to save this object." , - Hanna Havryliv explained her decision.

The Dolynskyi estate in Pekariv is almost the only preserved example of Ukrainian wooden classicist palace architecture on the Left Bank. The two-story building has a balcony terrace, a four-column portico, and a historical park nearby, which also belonged to the Dolynskyi family. The main goal of "Heritage.UA" is to preserve the architectural and historical value of the estate so that it becomes a tourist magnet in the future. After all, the village of Pekariv in Sivershchyna is located 50 kilometers from Baturyn and 100 kilometers from Chernihiv, it is the land of Oleksandr Dovzhenko's "enchanted Desna".

In Soviet times, a school functioned in the premises. The educational institution operated in the estate until 2000, when it was recognized as an emergency. Since then, it has not been used and the building has completely fallen into disrepair. The windows and doors here were significantly destroyed, and the roof partially collapsed.

"We are starting our project with thorough historical and architectural research under the leadership of architect-restorer Serhiy Yurchenko. With the first rays of the spring sun, we plan to start arranging the building and the adjacent park, and later, together with experts and the community, we will develop a concept for the future best adaptation of the estate," Hanna Havryliv told about the immediate plans. The founder of the fund noted that this is a short-term project, designed for 3-4 months. "Heritage.UA" calls on partners from Chernihiv region to join in organizing the palace and territory. Later, they will look for a caring owner for him.

За його порятунок взявся львівський благодійний фонд з відновлення архітектурних пам’яток “Спадщина.UA”. Керівниця фонду Ганна Гаврилів була єдиною учасницею торгів, оголошених Сосницькою селищної радою, і придбала історичний будинок за 226,5 тисяч гривень. Про новий проєкт фонд повідомив 19 лютого на своїй сторінці в Facebook.

“Маєток Долинського буквально за кілька кілометрів від кордону з ворогом. Це “божевілля” було насправді цілком свідомим і виваженим рішенням, ба навіть обов’язком. Бо вважаю, що якщо місія “Спадщина.UA” – давати архітектурним перлам України нове життя, то саме зараз, саме в час війни цей крок – наш національно-культурний фронт, і ми просто не мали морального права не врятувати цей об’єкт”, – пояснила своє рішення Ганна Гаврилів.

Маєток Долинських у Пекареві – чи не єдиний збережений на Лівобережжі зразок української дерев’яної класицистичної палацової архітектури. Двоповерхова будівля має балконну терасу, чотириколонний портик, поруч – історичний парк, який також належав родині Долинських. Головною метою “Спадщина.UA” є збереження архітектурної та історичної цінності маєтку, щоб у майбутньому він став туристичним магнітом. Адже село Пекарів на Сіверщині розташоване за 50 кілометрів від Батурина і 100 кілометрів від Чернігова, це край “зачарованої Десни” Олександра Довженка.

За радянських часів у приміщенні функціонувала школа. Навчальний заклад працював у маєтку до 2000 року, коли його визнали аварійним. З того часу він не використовується і будівля зовсім занепала. Вікна та двері тут суттєво зруйнувалися, а дах частково впав.

“Розпочинаємо наш проєкт із ґрунтовних історичних та архітектурних досліджень під керівництвом архітектора-реставратора Сергія Юрченка. Із першими променями весняного сонця плануємо розпочати впорядкування будівлі та прилеглого парку, а згодом – спільно з експертами та громадою розробити концепцію майбутнього найкращого пристосування маєтку”, – розповіла про найближчі плани Ганна Гаврилів.

Засновниця фонду зазначила, що це короткотривалий проєкт, розрахований на 3-4 місяці. “Спадщина.UA”  закликає долучитися партнерів з Чернігівщини, які займуться впорядкуванням палацу та території. Згодом – шукатимуть для нього дбайливого господаря.
