After several months of conservation and restoration, one of the halls of the five-hundred-year-old castle housed an exhibition of works by a modern Ukrainian artist working in the genres of postmodernism and symbolism.

A new modern art space will open on July 16 in one of the premises of the 16th-century Berezhany Castle of the Synyavsky in Ternopil region. As reported by the administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve in the city of Berezhany on the official Facebook page, during the opening of the art space, the author's project of the Ukrainian artist Oleg Shuplyak on a space theme will be presented.

"Ukrainian Cosmos" art space of Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleg Shupliak presents the artist's multifaceted, multi-colored and multi-genre work. All those who wish to immerse themselves in "Ukrainian Cosmos" will be able to immerse themselves in the "Ukrainian Cosmos" thanks to the full-dome program," the message said.

Ternopil artist Oleh Shuplyak works in the genres of associative symbolism, postmodernism, and abstractionism. The most famous is his series of paintings "Dvovzory", where two different subjects were combined in one image.

According to the author of the exhibition, he created the thirty-minute animated dome program based on the series of paintings "Ukrainian Cosmos" in cooperation with the Dnipro Planetarium. In total, more than 70 works of the artist will be presented at the exhibition: painting, graphics, sculpture, video art.

One of the castle halls with an area of 200 square meters was arranged for the exhibition. Conservation and restoration work was carried out in the premises at the expense of public organizations and the city council. Volunteers actively participated in the arrangement of the exhibition hall.

The opening of the art space is scheduled for 16:00. The event will take place in the "free movement" format - admission is free. During the event, a charity collection will be held for the needs of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine. The exhibition will last until the end of summer.

Новий сучасний артпростір відкриється 16 липня в одному з приміщень Бережанського замку Синявських XVI століття, що на Тернопільщині. Як повідомляє адміністрація Державного історико-архітектурного заповідника у місті Бережани на офіційній сторінці у Facebook, під час відкриття в артпросторі буде представлено авторський проєкт українського художника Олега Шупляка на космічну тематику.

"Артпростір "Український космос" заслуженого художника України Олега Шупляка представляє багатогранну, різнобарвну та різножанрову творчість митця. Зануритися в "Український космос" усі бажаючі зможуть завдяки повнокупольній  програмі", – сказано у повідомленні.

Тернопільський художник Олег Шупляк працює у жанрах асоціативного символізму, постмодернізму та абстракціонізму. Найбільш відомою є його серія картин "Двовзори", де в одному зображенні поєднувалися два різні сюжети. 

За словами автора виставки, тридцятихвилинну анімовану купольну програму він створив на основі серії картин "Український космос" у співпраці з Дніпровським планетарієм. Загалом на виставці буде представлено понад 70 творів художника: живопис, графіка, скульптура, відеоарт.

Для виставки було облаштовано один із замкових залів площею 200 квадратних метрів. Коштом громадських організацій та міської ради у приміщенні було проведено консерваційні та реставраційні роботи. До облаштування виставкової зали активно долучилися волонтери.

Відкриття артпростору заплановане на 16:00. Захід проходитиме у форматі "вільний рух" – вхід безкоштовний. Під час заходу проводитиметься благодійний збір на потреби військовослужбовців Національної гвардії України. Виставка триватиме до кінця літа.
