The accessibility questionnaire of Inclusive Travels in Ukraine was developed by experts in universal design and can be filled out online in electronic form.
The project "Inclusive Travels in Ukraine: Accessibility of Museums of Ukraine" with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is starting a survey of museum institutions of Ukraine regarding the current state of their inclusiveness. We offer museums to actively join the project!
We sent letters to the e-mail addresses of all museums of Ukraine with a request to fill out an electronic questionnaire or its paper version, as well as the necessary instructions. A specialized questionnaire for assessing the accessibility of museums was developed by the ORFO universal design studio with the participation of the NGO Chernivtsi Association "Defense", which has extensive experience in the implementation of inclusive projects.
The questionnaire is available online at: https://bit.ly/2Vn4MOj
The questionnaire can be filled out directly in electronic form, taking the necessary measurements as you complete it, or you can pre-print a paper version of the questionnaire (using the links below), fill it out manually, and then transfer the data to the electronic form. For measurements, you will need a tape measure and a protractor (a tool or a suitable smartphone application).
The primary information collected through the questionnaire will form the basis of a publicly available database on the accessibility of museums in Ukraine, which will be supplemented and corrected by volunteers in the regions.
The paper version of the questionnaire can be downloaded here: https://bit.ly/3zTzkGE
Instructions for filling out the questionnaire are available here: https://bit.ly/3j2h5YB
We also offer everyone interested a webinar on the methodology of assessing the accessibility of museum institutions, which was conducted by an expert on architectural accessibility, co-founder of the universal design studio ORFO, consultant of the Inclusive Travels in Ukraine project, Volodymyr Vysotskyi.

The project is fully in line with the strategic goals and objectives of the National Strategy for the Creation of a Barrier-Free Space, in particular regarding the implementation of best practices and mechanisms for involving persons with disabilities, youth, the elderly, parents with preschool-aged children in cultural life, ensuring opportunities for barrier-free participation of citizens in cultural life, access to cultural services, cultural values, cultural heritage and information about them.
