From Monday, April 3, the Uman Museum of Local Lore partially resumes its work after a long break. This is reported by the museum administration on the official Facebook page.

As told to the publication "UmanNews.City" Director of the Uman Museum of Local Lore Viktoriya Savchuk, for now only a few departments will be opened for inspection.

"Currently, the departments of archaeology, nature, local history, diorama "The siege of the Uman fortress by the Turks. 1674" will be available to visitors, the ethnographic hall, the hall where antique furniture is presented. For the time being, the museum will work by appointment," Viktoria Savchuk explained.

According to the head of the institution, the official opening of the Uman Museum of Local Lore for visitors will take place with the start of the tourist season in Uman - at the end of April.

Як прозповіла виданню "УманьNews.City" т.в.о. директора Уманського краєзнавчого музею Вікторія Савчук, поки що для огляду відкриють лише кілька відділів.

"Наразі для відвідувачів будуть доступні відділи археології, природи, краєзнавчий, діорама "Облога Уманської фортеці турками. 1674 рік", етнографічна зала, зала, де представлені старовинні меблі. Поки що музей працюватиме за попереднім записом", – пояснила Вікторія Савчук.

За словами керівниці закладу, офіційне відкриття краєзнавчого музею для відвідування відбудеться зі стартом туристичного сезону в Умані – наприкінці квітня.
