The museum collection already includes 12 models of famous ships of different eras, which reflect the history of shipbuilding from ancient times to our time.

The model of the battleship "Kyiv" has become a new exhibit of the Ships Museum, which is located in the open air on the embankment of Ostashivskyi Pond in Uman. This was reported in the "Historical Uman" community.

"The Battleship Kyiv was added to the general collection of ships, the author of which is Mykola Chistyk from Uman. It is one of the first battleships of an unusual shape, built in 1875 in Mykolaiv for the coast guard of the Black Sea Fleet. Decommissioned in 1903," the message says.

The Ship Models Museum was established in Uman in 2020. The first exhibits were the famous "Titanic", the French flute "Angelica", the Cossack seagull, the Roman bireme, the brigantine "Secret" and the ship "Victoria".

At the same time, the newly created ship museum in Uman entered the National Register of Records of Ukraine for the largest number of models of historical ships in one location.

Today, the collection includes 12 models of famous ships of different eras, which reflect the history of shipbuilding from ancient times to the present day. They are made for the museum by Uman craftsman Mykola Chystik.

Макет броненосця "Київ" став новим експонатом Музею кораблів, що розташований просто неба на набережній Осташівського ставу в Умані. Про це повідомили в спільноті "Умань історична".

"До загальної колекції кораблів додали Броненосець "Київ", автором якого є уманець Микола Чистик. Це один із перших броненосців незвичної форми, збудований у 1875 році в Миколаєві для берегової охорони Чорноморського флоту. Знятий з експлуатації у 1903 році", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Музей макетів кораблів створений в Умані у 2020 році. Першими експонатами стали знаменитий "Титанік", французький флейт "Анжеліка", козацька чайка, римська бірема, бригантина "Секрет" та корабель "Вікторія".

Тоді ж новостворений музей кораблів в Умані увійшов до Національного реєстру рекордів України за найбільшу кількість макетів історичних кораблів на одній локації.

На сьогодні колекція налічує 12 макетів відомих кораблів різних епох, які відображають історію кораблебудування від давніх часів до нашого часу. Їх виготовляє для музею уманський майстер Микола Чистик.
