Excursion route in memory of Petro Radkovets was created in Lviv

"Petro Radkovets - the most recognizable tour guide of Lviv, local expert and popularizer of its history and culture, died suddenly on February 4, 2023. In order to immortalize his figure and contribute to the popularization of our city in Lviv, an excursion route was created in his memory," - reports the press service of the Lviv City Council .

The author's route in memory of Petro Radkovets was developed by tour guide, colleague Diana Borysenko, in cooperation with the tour guide's family and the Lviv Tourist Office.

The route runs through the central part of the city through places where Petro Radkovets often led tours. At each stop, of which there are more than 10, there will be monuments with stories related to Radkovets and the peculiarities of his excursion business.

"Петро Радковець – найвпізнаваніший екскурсовод Львова, краєзнавець і популяризатор його історії і культури, раптово помер 4 лютого 2023 року. Задля увіковічнення його постаті і внеску в популяризацію нашого міста у Львові створили екскурсійний маршрут його пам’яті", - повідомляє пресслужба Львівської міської ради.

Авторський маршрут пам’яті Петра Радковця розроблений екскурсоводкою, колегою Діаною Борисенко у співпраці із родиною екскурсовода та Львівським туристичним офісом.

Маршрут пролягає центральною частиною міста через місця, якими Петро Радковець часто водив екскурсії. На кожній зупинці, яких є понад 10, будуть згадки з історіями, пов’язаними з Радковцем та особливостями його екскурсійної справи.
