For now, only temporary exhibitions are available to visitors, but the restoration of the main exhibits is underway, and soon the permanent exhibition "Dream City: the world in miniature" will open.

After a break of more than a year, the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore resumed full-time work on Monday. This was announced by the institution's administration on the official Facebook page.

"The Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore will start accepting visitors from March 20, 2023," the message said.

According to the updated schedule, the museum is open from 09:00 to 16:30, except for Fridays. The last day of the month is sanitary.

The day before, the director of the museum Valery Chernyavskyi said in an interview with "Suspilne" that new exhibitions will be presented in the institution.

"We are working on the fact that in the near future citizens can visit temporary exhibitions, master classes, and events that will take place on the basis of the regional museum of local history," said Valery Chernyavskyi.

According to him, the restoration of the damaged exhibits is ongoing. In particular, employees are preparing for the opening of the permanent exhibition "Dream City: the world in miniature".

It is noted that the museum has developed security measures for visitors and employees in case of an air raid.

The Mykolaiv Museum of Local Lore has been closed since February 24, 2022. In the summer, the museum was damaged as a result of Russian rocket fire.

Згідно з оновленим графіком, музей працює з 09:00 до 16:30, крім п’ятниці. Останній день місяця – санітарний.

Напередодні директор музею Валерій Чернявський розповів в інтерв'ю "Суспільному", що у закладі будуть представлені нові виставки.

"Ми працюємо над тим, щоб вже найближчим часом містяни могли відвідувати тимчасові виставки, майстер-класи, заходи, що відбуватимуться на базі обласного краєзнавчого музею", – повіомив Валерій Чернявський.

За його словами, триває відновлення пошкоджених експозицій. Зокрема, працівники готують до відкриття постійну виставку "Dream City: світ у мініатюрі".

Зазначається, що в музеї розробили заходи з безпеки для відвідувачів та працівників на випадок повітряної тривоги.

Миколаївський краєзнавчий музей був зачинений з 24 лютого 2022 року. Влітку музей зазнав пошкоджень внаслідок російського ракетного обстрілу.
