The authors of the project plan to transform the museum space into a platform for unexpected formats and discoveries, to revive history and show famous exhibits in an unusual format.

On Sunday, May 18, on the occasion of International Museum Day, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve of the city of Ostroh invites guests to the Ostroh Castle for a special evening tour called "Night at the Museum". Such an event is held here annually, the press service of the Rivne Regional Council reports.

The theme of this year's event - "Ostroh - 925!" - is dedicated to the anniversary of one of the oldest cities in Ukraine.

From 8:00 p.m. until midnight, visitors will have the opportunity not only to see the museum and exhibits in an unusual format, but also to hear little-known facts about Ostroh.

"Night at the Museum is more than an international event. This is an event that changes the perception of the museum. On a special evening, the exhibitions will speak in a new way: history will come to life in the dark, the shadows of the past will be right next to us, hall by hall we will go through history and the present," the organizers announce.

It is noted that this event should show the true potential of a modern museum, transform a familiar space into a platform for unexpected formats and discoveries, attract young people and a new audience, and also return to the museum those who have already been there before.

У неділю, 18 травня, з нагоди Міжнародного дня музеїв, Державний історико-культурний заповідник міста Острог запрошує гостей до Острозького замку на особливу вечірню екскурсію під назвою "Ніч у музеї". Такий захід тут проводять щорічно, повідомляє пресслужба Рівненської обласної ради.

Тема цьогорічного дійства – "Острогу – 925!" – присвячена ювілею одного з найдавніших міст України.

З 20:00 і до опівночі відвідувачі матимуть нагоду не лише побачити музей та експонати у незвичному форматі, а й почути маловідомі факти про Острог.

"Ніч в музеї – більше, ніж міжнародна акція. Це подія, що змінює уявлення про музей. В особливий вечір експозиції заговорять по-новому: історія оживатиме в темряві, тіні минулого будуть зовсім поруч, зала за залою ми пройдемо крізь історію та сучасність", – анонсують організатори. 

Зазначається, що цей захід має показати справжній потенціал сучасного музею, перетворити знайомий простір на майданчик несподіваних форматів і відкриттів, залучити молодь та нову аудиторію, а також повернути до музею тих, хто в ньому вже бував раніше.
