Touristic Lutsk presented a map of klykuns

The tourist administration of the city of Lutsk presented an interactive map of the location of the mini-sculptures of Lutsk klikuns. The map was created to help those who wish to organize an independent thematic tour of Lutsk, the Department of Tourism and City Promotion of the Lutsk City Council reported.

The project "Lutsk klykun" was launched in 2015 by the Lutsk City Council with the aim of honoring the city's ancient watchman profession and creating a number of klikun sculptures in the city, which will form a tourist route. Since then, 19 bronze figurines have been installed on the streets of the city. Excursions and quests are also held in Lutsk in the footsteps of Lutsk summoners.

From now on, tourists can use the electronic map of the location of the sculptures in the city, the city council notes.

"We are happy to announce that from now on it has become even easier to find all the Lutsk klykuns! Now the Lutsk klykuns are on an interactive map, thanks to which you can easily find the right klykun and plan a route to visit them," the message said.

19 locations in the central part of the city are marked on the map. All the callers presented on it have their own names according to the competition held in the city.

"On the map, you will find not only photos of the sculptures, but also their names, stories and addresses. This map can be used for an interesting quest through the city, which will appeal to both adults and children," the authors of the project emphasize.

During the Middle Ages, the Lutsk klykuns performed the functions of city watchmens and firemens. Their name comes from a kind of "calling" ritual, when they echoed to each other from the castle towers with the word: "I'm on guard!" The first sculpture of a klykun in the form of a weathervane on the Lord's Tower of the Lutsk Castle appeared back in the 1990s during the restoration.

Earlier, enthusiasts posted an unofficial map of klykuns on the network, which received more than 30,000 views in 3 years.

Інтерактивну мапу розташування мініскульптур луцьких кликунів презентувала туристична адміністрація міста Луцька. Мапа створена для допомоги бажаючим організувати самостійну тематичну екскурсію Луцьком, повідомили в управлінні туризму та промоції міста Луцької міської ради.

Проєкт "Луцький кликун" започаткувала 2015 року Луцька міська рада з метою вшанування давньої міської професії та створення у місті низки скульптур кликунів, що формуватимуть туристичний маршрут. З тих пір на вулицях міста встановили вже 19 бронзових фігурок. Також у Луцьку проводять екскурсії та квести слідами луцьких кликунів.

Відтепер туристи можуть скористатися електронною мапою розташування скульптур у місті, зазначають у міськраді.

"З радістю повідомляємо, що відтепер знайти усіх луцьких кликунів стало ще легше! Тепер луцькі кликуни на інтерактивній мапі, завдяки якій можна легко знайти потрібного кликуна та спланувати маршрут для їх відвідування", – сказано у повідомленні. 

На мапі позначено 19 локацій в центральній частині міста. Всі представлені на ній кликуни мають власні імена згідно з проведеним у місті конкурсом.

"На мапі ви знайдете не лише фото скульптур, а й їхні імена, історії та адреси. Дана карта може використовуватись для цікавого квесту містом, який сподобається як дорослим, так і дітям", – підкреслюють автори проєкту.

За часів Середньовіччя луцькі кликуни виконували функції міської сторожі та пожежних. Їхня назва походить від своєрідного ритуалу "кликання", коли вони перегукувалися між собою з веж замку словом: "Вартую!" Перша скульптура кликуна у вигляді флюгера на Владичій вежі Луцького замку з'явилася ще у 1990-х роках під час реставрації.

Раніше ентузіасти виклали в мережі неофіційну мапу кликунів, яка за 3 роки отримала понад 30 тисяч переглядів.
