A tourist route in the places of Antonych and Sheptytsky was opened in the Lviv Region

The presentation of the Yavoriv tourist route was held at the beginning of December by the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Lviv Regional Military Administration for representatives of the tourist business and guides. This was reported by the administration press service on the official website.

The first stop of the tour was the town of Sudova Vyshnya, where the Museum of the History of Sudova Vyshnya is located and the first monument in Ukraine to Ivan Vyshensky, a monk who was a monk of the Athos Monastery in Greece, a writer and a religious figure originally from this town.

Then the participants of the promotion went to the village of Bortyatyn, where the museum-manor of the Antonych family is located, in which this year together with the department of culture, nationalities and religions of the Lviv Region Administration, the exposition was updated. The interactive museum welcomed the well-known carol to the words of Bohdan-Ihor Antonych "God was born on a sleigh", then the elements of Lemkivshchyna and Yavorivshchyna, the history of the Antonych family and its creative heritage were presented.

"It is important for us to preserve and popularize such objects. It is important not just to make a museum, but a place with a soul, interactive, which will meet modern needs. Lviv region is rich in talented people, whose memory should live on, because it is our identification, as people, and their creativity is a treasure that should be passed down from generation to generation", – said Natalya Tabaka, head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts.

The next stop was the village of Vizhomlia, where representatives of the tourism business visited two churches. One of them is the wooden Church of the Resurrection of 1560, the other is modern, but with paintings and an iconostasis by the famous artist Orest Skop.

Next to the churches, the first monument in Ukraine was erected in honor of the granting of the Tomos for Ukraine.

The final stop was the village of Prylbychi, where Andrey Sheptytsky, one of the most outstanding leaders of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, was born in 1865. The participants of the promotion had the opportunity to visit the church and museum of the Sheptytsky family, a catechetical school where master classes are held on icon painting on glass, the chapel-burial place of the Sheptytsky family, and the church where the future metropolitan was baptized.

Презентацію Яворівського туристичного маршруту провело на початку грудня Управління туризму та курортів Львівської обласної військової адміністрації для представників туристичного бізнесу та гідів. Про це повідомляє пресслужба ЛОВА на офіційному сайті.

Першою зупинкою промотуру стало місто Судова Вишня, де розташований Музей історії Судової Вишні та перший в Україні пам’ятник Івану Вишенському – преподобному монаху, який був ченцем Афонського монастиря в Греції, письменнику та релігійному діячу родом із цього містечка.

Далі учасники промотуру попрямували в село Бортятин, де розташована музей-садиба родини Антоничів, в якому цього року спільно з департаментом з питань культури, національностей та релігій Львівської ОВА, оновили експозицію. Інтерактивний музей зустрів відомою колядкою на слова Богдана-Ігоря Антонича "Народився Бог на санях", далі були презентовані елементи Лемківщини та Яворівщини, історія родини Антоничів та його творча спадщина.

"Нам важливо зберігати та популяризувати такі об’єкти. Важливо не просто зробити музей, а місце з душею, інтерактивом, яке буде відповідати сучасним потребам. Львівщина багата на талановитих людей, пам'ять про яких має жити, бо це наша ідентифікація, як народу, а їхня творчість – скарб, який має передаватись із покоління в покоління", – зазначила начальниця управління туризму та курортів Наталя Табака.

Наступною зупинкою стало село Віжомля, де представники туристичного бізнесу відвідали дві церкви. Одна із них – дерев’яна церква Воскресіння 1560 року, інша – сучасна, проте із розписами та іконостасом роботи відомого митця – Ореста Скопа.

Поруч із церквами звели перший в Україні пам’ятник на честь надання Томосу для України.

Крайньою зупинкою стало село Прилбичі, де у 1865 році народився один із найвидатніших провідників Української греко-католицької церкви Андрей Шептицький. В учасників промотуру була можливість відвідати церкву та музей родини Шептицьких, катехетичну школу, де проводять майстер–класи із розпису ікони на склі, каплицю-усипальницю родини Шептицьких та костел, де хрестили майбутнього митрополита.
