An exhibition of various types of stones and minerals will be located in the ancient cellar of a century-old village house, which will become part of the "Deep Ages" quest.

A geological museum with an exposition of rocks and minerals is being created by the "Dunstan" Crafts Center in the village of Pechera, Vinnytsia region. The administration of the center announced this on the official Facebook page.

"The museum will be located in a stone basement that was built about 80 years ago. It will be a unique place where everyone can immerse themselves in the world of minerals and rocks," the authors of the project emphasize.

The stone museum will be one of the parts of the new project implemented by the "Dunstan" center in Pechera. It is also planned to create a craft museum. The expositions will be presented in a Ukrainian village house of the beginning of the 20th century.

"The museum will become an interesting and educational place for children, it will help them learn more about the geology and history of our region. It will be one of the locations of the new quest program "Into the Ages", the developers promise.

The initiators of the project offer everyone who wishes to participate in the creation of the museum exposition. Museum workers are looking for interesting stones and tools for quarrying and processing stone.

As reported by travels.in.ua, last year in the village of Stadnytsia of the Vinnytsia district, the "Dunstan" crafts center opened a museum-workshop of crafts and medieval life.

Геологічний музей з експозицією гірських порід і мінералів створює Центр ремесел "Дунстан" у селі Печера Вінницької області. Про це адміністрація центру повідомила на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"Музей буде розташований у кам'яному підвалі, який було вимуровано близько 80 років тому. Це буде унікальне місце, де кожен зможе зануритися у світ мінералів та гірських порід", – наголошують автори проєкту.

Музей каміння стане однією з частин нового проєкту, який реалізується центром "Дунстан" у Печері. Також планується створення музею ремесел. Експозиції будуть представлені в українській сільській хаті початку XX століття. 

"Музей стане цікавим та пізнавальним місцем для дітей, допоможе їм дізнатися більше про геологію та історію нашого регіону. Це буде одна із локацій нової програми квесту "Вглибину віків", – обіцяють розробники.

Ініціатори проєкту пропонують усім, хто забажає, долучитися до створення музейної експозиції. Музейники шукають цікаве каміння та інструменти для добування та обробки каменю.
