The team of the reserve managed to save a unique authentic Boyko house from the beginning of the 20th century. Now it can be seen in the museum.

The administration of the "Tustan" Historical and Cultural Reserve announced this on its Facebook page.

"Friends, our team saved a unique Boyko house!

Now there is one more attraction in Tustan! For the first time, a house from the beginning of the 20th century from the village of Plavya was moved and rebuilt to the village of Urych! It was installed next to another authentic hut - the cultural center of the Khata in Hlyboky. The building already serves as a photo booth for visitors, and will eventually become another heritage tourism site.

This is a significant event for the team, because this idea has been nurtured for more than one year! It is symbolic that this project was implemented precisely during a full-scale war. After all, he preserved for posterity an original sample of Ukrainian architectural identity. The salvaged house from the village of Plavya with a carved gallery is one of the last surviving examples of the local school of folk construction. Such objects disappear en masse and without a trace along with the development of villages," the museum notes.

Andriy Kotlyarchuk, director of the reserve, initiator and project manager, believes that this is not the last time such a project is implemented in Tustan. After all, the preservation and multiplication of authentic buildings within the tourist destination is important for the sustainable development of the village of Urych, for the preservation of its tourist potential.

The Tustan team is ready to share the project experience with all those who are interested.

"Друзі, наша команда врятувала унікальну бойківську хату!

Тепер у Тустані стало на одну пам’ятку більше! До села Урич вперше перевезли та відбудували хату початку ХХ століття із села Плав’я! Її встановили поруч із іншою автентичною хатою – культурним центром Хата у Глубокім. Будівля вже слугує фотозоною для відвідувачів, а згодом вона стане ще одним об’єктом туризму спадщини.

Для команди це знакова подія, адже цю ідею виношували не один рік! Символічно, що цей проєкт вдалося реалізувати саме під час повномасштабної війни. Адже він зберіг для нащадків оригінальний зразок української архітектурної ідентичності. Врятована хата – із села Плав’я з різьбленою галереєю – один з останніх збережених зразків місцевої школи народного будівництва. Такі об’єкти масово та безслідно зникають разом із забудовою сіл", – зазначають у музеї.

Директор заповідника, ініціатор та керівник проєкту Андрій Котлярчук вважає, що такий проєкт реалізовується в Тустані не востаннє. Адже збереження та примноження автентичної забудови в межах туристичної дестинації важливе для сталого розвитку села Урич, для збереження його туристичного потенціалу.

Команда Тустані готова ділитися здобутим досвідом проєкту з усіма охочими.
