New excursion routes are being laid in the Trypillian dungeons to the sites of archaeological finds that scientists have made during the last three years of archaeological research.

The updating and improvement of the tourist route in the Cave-Museum of the Trypillian Culture "Verteba" continues near the village of Bilche-Zolote in the Ternopil region. The administration of the Borshchiv Regional Museum of Local Lore, of which "Verteba" is a department, told about the preparation of the archaeological site for the summer tourist season.

"After a snowy winter, there is a lot of water in the cave. Therefore, we are carrying out a whole complex of works to make it convenient and comfortable for visitors," the report says.

It is noted that over the past three years, new archaeological research has been carried out in the cave labyrinths, where the excursion route passes, involving modern technologies and methods. As a result of the work, a lot of earth accumulated, which had to be lifted from the dungeon to the surface.

"The next stage of this project will be the construction of paved paths," the museum administration reported.

It is emphasized that in the current situation, the museum can only count on its own employees and charitable assistance from those who care. The administration expressed gratitude to the volunteers who participated in the archaeological excavations and the improvement of the museum infrastructure in the cave.

Оновлення та вдосконалення туристичного маршруту в Печері-музеї трипільської культури "Вертеба" триває поблизу села Більче-Золоте на Тернопільщині. Про підготовку археологічної пам'ятки до літнього туристичного сезону розповіли в адміністрації Борщівського обласного краєзнавчого музею, відділом якого є "Вертеба".

"Після багатосніжної зими в печері багато води. Тому ми проводимо цілий комплекс робіт, щоб відвідувачам було зручно і комфортно", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Зазначається, що протягом останніх трьох років у печерних лабіринтах, де проходить екскурсійний маршрут, здійснювалися нові археологічні дослідження із залученням сучасних технологій і методик. В результаті проведених робіт накопичилося чимало землі, яку треба було підняти з підземелля на поверхню.

"Наступним етапом цього проєкту буде будівництво доріжок із твердим покриттям", – повідомили в адміністрації музею. 

Наголошується, що в нинішній ситуації музей може розраховувати лише на власні сили своїх працівників та благодійну допомогу небайдужих. Адміністрація висловила подяку волонтерам, які долучилися до проведення археологічних розкопок та вдосконалення музейної інфраструктури в печері.
