The National Reserve was closed for the three coldest weeks of winter to protect cultural heritage sites and protect the health of guests and employees.

After a temporary break in work caused by prolonged power outages and heating supply disruptions in the capital, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve has resumed receiving visitors. The administration of the reserve reported this on its official Facebook page.

"The Lavra is resuming work in test mode! The frosts are receding, so from February 12, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve will reopen for daily visits from 9:00 to 17:00," the message says.

It is noted that the following are currently available for viewing:
- the territory of the Upper Lavra;
- the Assumption Cathedral (building No. 80);
- Church of Saints Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves with a refectory (building No. 29);
- Exhibition "Frescoes of the Church of the Savior on Berestov, 17th Century" (building No. 25).

Sightseeing tours are held from 9:00 to 16:00.

As reported by travels.in.ua, the administration of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra announced the temporary suspension of visitors on January 23. This decision was aimed at protecting cultural heritage sites, as well as the health of guests and employees of the reserve.

Після тимчасової перерви в роботі, викликаної тривалими відключеннями електрики та перебоями з теплопостачанням у столиці, Національний заповідник "Києво-Печерська лавра" поновив прийом відвідувачів. Про це адміністрація заповідника повідомила на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"Лавра відновлює роботу в тестовому режимі! Морози відступають, тож з 12 лютого Національний заповідник "Києво-Печерська лавра" знову відкривається для щоденного відвідування з 9:00 до 17:00", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Зазначається, що для огляду наразі доступні:
- територія Верхньої лаври;
- Успенський собор (корпус № 80);
- церква Святих Антонія і Феодосія Печерських з трапезною палатою (корпус № 29);
- виставка "Фрески церкви Спаса на Берестові XVII століття" (корпус № 25).

Оглядові екскурсії проводяться з 9:00 до 16:00.

Як повідомляв travels.in.ua, про тимчасове припинення прийому відвідувачів адміністрація "Києво-Печерська лавра" повідомила 23 січня. Таке рішення було спрямоване на захист обʼєктів культурної спадщини, а також здоровʼя гостей та працівників заповідника.
