After the completion of the works, the exhibition space of the "Trypillian Culture" reserve should combine scientific reliability, modern design and a lively interest in history.

The Museum of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Trypillian Culture" in the village of Lehedzyne in the Cherkasy region is preparing to update the exhibition. It will temporarily suspend its work until mid-January 2026, the department of culture and cultural heritage protection of the Cherkasy regional military administration reported.

In particular, the museum has already begun installing new display cases. They plan to make the space more modern and convenient for displaying artifacts from the Trypillian era.

"The updated exhibition will present dishes from the 5th–4th millennia BC. Among the exhibits are pots, bowls, strainers, fragments with ornaments and images. Miniature cups and small objects that were not previously exhibited due to fragility will also be shown for the first time. Now they will be placed in special display cases with lighting and a controlled microclimate," the administration says.

This is one of the projects being implemented on the basis of the reserve with the support of the OLOS Patronage Foundation.

The reserve's Facebook page reports that the re-exhibition will last from November 10 to mid-January next year. After the work is completed, the museum promises to open with an updated exhibition that will combine scientific reliability, modern design and a lively interest in history.

"Wait, it will be much better!" - the reserve urges.

Музей державного історико-культурного заповідника "Трипільська культура" в селі Легедзиному на Черкащины готують до оновлення експозиції. До середини січня 2026 року він тимчасово призупиняє роботу, повідомили в управлінні культури та охорони культурної спадщини Черкаської обласної військової адміністрації.

Зокрема, в музеї вже почали встановлювати нові вітрини. Простір планують зробити більш сучасним та зручним для показу артефактів трипільської доби.

"Оновлена експозиція презентуватиме посуд V–IV тисячоліть до нашої ери. Серед експонатів – горщики, миски, цідилки, уламки з орнаментами й зображеннями. Вперше покажуть також мініатюрні кубки та дрібні предмети, які раніше не виставляли через крихкість. Тепер їх розмістять у спеціальних вітринах з підсвіткою та контрольованим мікрокліматом", – розповіли в управлінні.

Це один із проєктів, який реалізують на базі заповідника за підтримки благодійного фонду "Меценатська фундація OLOS".

На Facebook-сторінці заповідника повідомляється, що реекспозиція триватиме з 10 листопада до середини січня наступного року. Після завершення робіт музей обіцяють відкрити з оновленою експозицією, що поєднає наукову достовірність, сучасний дизайн і живий інтерес до історії. 

"Дочекайтесь, буде набагато краще!" – закликают у заповіднику.
