Visitors will be able to visit places they could only imagine before, look behind the scenes, and feel the real atmosphere of theater life from its first days to the present.

"An Interesting Excursion from the Theater Director" - under this title, the Chernivtsi Regional Music and Drama Theater named after Olha Kobylianska launched a theatrical tour about the history of the institution. It is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe, the theater administration reported on its official Facebook page.

"During the event, viewers will learn about the secrets of the architectural success of the Fellner and Helmer studio, find themselves at the epicenter of scandals related to the theater's first director Adolf Ranzenhofer, and also hear retro gossip, theater legends, and see unique archival finds. All this - with a glass of champagne in their hands in the company of the theater's director and artistic director Ivan Butniak," the report says.

The tour starts from the panorama stage to the sound of a trumpet: the already traditional for Chernivtsi melody "Marichka" is performed by the theater director Ivan Butniak himself, says the publication "Molodyi Bukovynets", which attended the presentation of the tour.

"Furthermore, the route leads to the imperial box - a corridor with an exhibition of archival photos, construction diagrams and original artifacts: bricks from the time of the theater's construction, an old coat rack from the director's office and decorative interior elements. The journey ends on the stage - from here visitors can see the hall through the eyes of an actor," the publication says.

"Цікава екскурсія від директора театру" – під такою назвою Чернівецький обласний музично-драматичний театр імені Ольги Кобилянської започаткував театралізовану екскурсію про історію установи. Вона присвячена 120-річчю одного з найкрасивіших театрів Європи, повідомляє адміністрація театру на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"Під час події глядачі дізнаються про секрети архітектурного успіху ательє Фельнера і Гельмера, опиняться в епіцентрі скандалів, пов’язаних із першим директором театру Адольфом Ранценгофером, а також почують ретроплітки, театральні легенди й побачать унікальні архівні знахідки. Усе це – з келихом шампанського в руках у компанії директора та художнього керівника театру Івана Бутняка", – йдеться у повідомленні.

Екскурсія стартує зі сцени-панорами під звук сурми: уже традиційну для Чернівців мелодію "Марічки" виконує сам директор театру Іван Бутняк, розповідає видання "Молодий Буковинець", яке відвідало презентацію екскурсії.

"Далі маршрут веде до цісарської ложі – коридором з виставкою архівних фото, будівельними схемами та оригінальними артефактами: цеглою з часів зведення театру, старовинною вішалкою з кабінету директора та декоративними елементами інтер’єру.
