General information about Cossack village "Mamayeva Sloboda" (Kyiv)
The cultural and entertainment complex "Mamayeva Sloboda" in Kyiv is a reconstruction of a Cossack village of the 18th century.
There are 98 different objects on the territory of 9.2 hectares, the wooden church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos occupies a prominent place among them. There is also a Cossack chieftain's tenement house, a regimental treasury in the Ukrainian Baroque style, a palanka (Cossack outpost), a blacksmith's and a potter's manor, a tavern, and many other ethnographic objects that reproduce the life of Cossacks.

Культурно-розважальний комплекс "Мамаєва слобода" в Києві є реконструкцією козацького селища XVIII століття.
На території площею 9,2 гектари налічується 98 різних об'єктів, чільне місце серед яких займає дерев'яна церква Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці. Також тут є кам'яниця козацького старшини, полкова скарбниця у стилі українського бароко, паланка (козацька застава), садиби коваля та гончаря, шинок та безліч інших етнографічних об'єктів, що відтворюють побут козаків.
Комплекс названий на честь легендарного козака Мамая, одного із найпопулярніших персонажів українських народних переказів. На великі свята тут відбуваються народні гуляння. Можлива організація весільних церемоній у національному стилі, а також різноманітних корпоративних заходів.
