General information about Tysmenytsia City History Museum named after Stepan Havrylyuk (Tysmenytsia)
The Tysmenytsia City History Museum named after Stepan Havrylyuk is housed in a historic two-story building from 1902 near the city center.
The first hall presents archaeological findings from the Tysmenytsia hillfort and a model of the old Tysmenytsia. The second hall is the fur industry, to which the city owes its fame. Here you can see fur products of different eras, tools. The third hall is used for temporary exhibitions.
Музей історії міста Тисмениця імені Степана Гаврилюка розміщений в історичній двоповерховій будівлі 1902 року неподалік центру міста.
У першій залі представлені археологічні знахідки з Тисменицького городища та макет старої Тисмениці. Друга зала хутряному виробництву, якому місто завдячує своєю славою. Тут можна побачити вироби з хутра різних епох, знаряддя праці. Третя зала використовується для змінних виставок.
