General information about Shaytan-Koba Cave (Skalyste)
The Tatar name Shaytan-Koba ("Devil's cave") is given to the grotto, in which the site of an ancient man of the Paleolithic era (100-40 thousand years BC) was discovered.
It is located at the foot of a cliff on the Bodrak River, on the south-eastern edge of the village of Skalyste.
Flint products, animal bones were found.
Татарську назву Шайтан-Коба ("Чортова печера") носить грот, у якому виявлено стоянку стародавньої людини епохи палеоліту (100-40 тисяч років до нашої ери).
Знаходиться біля підніжжя скельного урвища на річці Бодрак, на південно-східній околиці села Скалисте.
Знайдені крем'яні вироби, кістки тварин.
