General information about AN-26 Plane Monument (Kyiv)
A monument to the AN-26 military transport plane is installed in Kyiv between the 1st and 8th buildings of the National Aviation University.
The aircraft was developed at the Oleh Antonov Design Bureau.
The AN-26 was nicknamed "Ugly Duckling" for the characteristic sound of the working engines.
Пам'ятник військово-транспортному літаку АН-26 встановлений в Києві між 1-м та 8-корпусами Національного авіаційного університету.
Літак розроблений у конструкторському бюро імені Олега Антонова.
За характерний звук працюючих двигунів АН-26 отримаво прізвисько "Гидке каченя".
