The Museum of the Underground Partisan Movement in the Mykolaiv Region was opened in 1975 in an old mansion of the end of the 19th century, which belonged to the family of German colonists von Schardt, well-known in Mykolaiv.

Музей підпільно-партизанського руху на Миколаївщині відкрито в 1975 році у старовинному особняку кінця ХІХ століття, який належав відомій у Миколаєві родині німців-колоністів фон Шардтів.

У 1941-1943 роках тут мешкав розвідник Віктор Лягін, керівник Миколаївського підпільного центру спротиву під час Другої світової війни.

Музей містить багату колекцію документів, фотографій, предметів, які розповідають про боротьбу жителів Миколаївської області проти німецьких окупантів. Представлені фіктивні медичні довідки, пропуски, паспорти, копії німецьких печаток, виготовлені підпільниками для порятунку молоді від вивезення до Німеччини та організації втеч військовополонених з концтабору.
