General information about Holy Assumption Cathedral (Hadiach)
The Assumption Cathedral in Hadiach was founded in 1831 at the expense of the merchant Ivan Marulyev.
In 1934, the church was closed by the Bolsheviks, and after the Second World War it was dismantled for building materials.
Restored in 1998 at the former place in its original form. It belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
Свято-Успенський собор у Гадячі заснований у 1831 році коштом купця Івана Марулєва.
В 1934 році храм був закритий більшовиками, а після Другої світової війни розібраний на будматеріали.
Відновлений у 1998 році на колишньому місці у первісному вигляді. Належить УПЦ московського патріархату.
