The Oleksandrivka Museum of Local Lore was opened in 1987 on the initiative of the public of the Oleksandrivka urban-type village. The basis of the exposition was archeology items, Tsvitne ceramics, Ukrainian embroidered towels, weapons from the Second World War and other materials collected by enthusiasts.

The first hall depicts the history of Oleksandrivka and the entire region from the earliest times until 1917. The exposition about the era of the Cossacks is especially interesting, because the nearby village of Birky was owned by Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, here he received ambassadors of foreign countries, gathered troops for the campaign against Poland, as evidenced by numerous objects of the 17th century found in Birky. The second hall is dedicated to the troubled times of 1920-1930, when the Soviet-Ukrainian war, collectivization and the Holodomor were raging in the region. The history of the region during the Second World War is an exposition of the third hall. The fourth hall is dedicated to the history of the region in the postwar period and the present. There is a department of nature and an art department, where the works of local masters are presented.

Branches of the Oleksandrivka Museum of Local Lore are the Levko Matsievych Room-Museum in Oleksandrivka and the Rozumivka Village History Museum.

Олександрівський краєзнавчий музей відкрито в 1987 році з ініціативи громадськості селища міського типу Олександрівка. Основу експозиції склали предмети археології, цвітненська кераміка, українські вишивані рушники, зброя часів Другої світової війни та інші матеріали, зібрані ентузіастами. 

У першій залі відображено історію Олександрівки та всього краю з найдавніших часів до 1917 року. Особливо цікава експозиція про епоху козацтва, адже сусіднім селом Бірки володів гетьман Богдан Хмельницький, тут він приймав послів іноземних держав, збирав війська для походу проти Польщі, про що свідчать численні предмети XVII століття, знайдені у Бірках. Також цікавою є експозиція "Українська хата початку ХХ сторіччя", де представлені різні предмети народного побуту.

Друга зала присвячена смутним часам 1920-1930-х років, коли в краї вирувала радянсько-українська війна, колективізація та Голодомор. Історія краю у роки Другої світової війни складає експозицію третьої зали. Четверта зала присвячена історії краю у повоєнний час та сучасності. Є відділ природи та художній відділ, де представлені роботи місцевих майстрів.

Філіями Олександрівського краєзнавчого музею є Кімната-музей Левка Мацієвича в Олександрівці та Музей історії села Розумівка.
