General information about "Singing Field" Park (Pechersk Landscape Park) (Kyiv)
The Pechersk Landscape Park in Kyiv is spread over an area of 30 hectares on the slopes of the Dnipro.
It is located between the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the complex of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. The basis of the composition is regular planning, formed according to the principle of symmetry.
The central part of the park is occupied by the Singing Field (Spivoche Pole) and a cascade of stairs to the Dnipro embankment, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
Flower exhibitions are regularly held in the Pechersk Landscape Park, and music festivals are held on the Singing Field.
Печерський ландшафтний парк у Києві розкинувся на схилах Дніпра на площі 30 гектарів.
Розташований між Києво-Печерською лаврою та комплексом Національного музею історії України у Другій світовій війні. В основі композиції – регулярне планування, утворене за принципом симетрії.
Центральну частину парку займає Співоче поле і каскад сходів до Дніпровської набережної, звідки відкривається чудовий краєвид на місто.
У Печерському ландшафтному парку регулярно відбуваються виставки квітів, а на Співочому полі – музичні фестивалі.
